This design project centered around three design elements the bar, the fireplace and the spa. The bar design utilizes a rhino script which produces a diversity of pockets for the wine bottles. This backlit casework reflects cascading colored hues though this cozy bar area. The fireplace continues the geometry of the bar, and utilizes the logic of the coded system of pockets to customize to the elements they would hold. The fireplace transitions into the casework of the entertainment area, and at that threshold between the two materials wood and stone is frayed.

This project was created in collaboration with landspeculations and ahylo. Located in East Hampton New York, this addition is scheduled for construction the summer of 2010.
