about the project : 1,000 gold hula hoops comprised this installation. The component form is a tetrahedron, which requires (4) hoops. The method of growth is bound by (3) trajectories per each component. This allow the formal qualities to "pack" and "branch". The hula hoop concept is linked with the installation program, fashion trade show "capsule". The gesture of the body in garments and the connection to the capacity of a body to generate rhythm and performance through that movement with a hula hoop is at the core of this installation.
